Rev. Makayla Dahleen was called to serve St. Paul Lutheran Church in the fall of 2020. She grew up in a small town in Wisconsin.
After earning her BA at Luther College in Decorah, IA, she earned her M.Div. with a Bible and Interfaith emphasis at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
Her leadership for ministry is grounded in God’s love and grace and the call to love God and neighbor in a world that aches for God’s justice and peace. She has a passion for making God’s word meaningful for people of all ages in their particular contexts.
Pastor Makayla also enjoys learning to play guitar, cooking, reading, and going on outdoor adventures with her husband.
